How soon after the wedding do you need my bouquet?
We prefer to receive your bouquet as soon as possible so that your flowers still look fresh and plump. Most bouquets are posted or brought to us a day or two after the wedding.
How do I get my bouquet to you?
Infinity Flowers has two workshops located in London and Leeds. If you are nearby, you can drop the flowers off in person. We also accept orders from customers nationwide. Please send your flowers to us using Royal Mail Special Delivery Before 1pm Service. For full instructions of how to care for and package your bouquet click here. It's much easier than it sounds and we can even send you all the equipment you need to package your flowers safely.
Our flat-pack P&P Pack is £10.
Do I have to book in advance?
Yes, it is strongly advised to book before your wedding so that we can add your preservation request to our schedule. We only take a limited number of bookings per week. During the summer months, we can end up turning away up to 30 disappointed brides every week who didn't book in time. If your wedding has recently taken place and your flowers are still in good condition, it is always worth giving us a call to see if we can arrange a last minute order. But if you are reading this before your wedding, please email us now!
I want to buy this as a gift for my bride-to-be friend. Can I purchase a gift voucher?
Absolutely! Our products make wonderful unique and meaningful presents. You can either whisk away the bouquet at the end of the night and surprise the bride and groom with a belated present, or you can purchase a gift voucher so that the bride can choose her own preservation option. Get in touch to discuss which arrangement would be best for you.
Do I have to decide which design I want before I book?
Not at all. You have enough to think about before the wedding! A lot of brides prefer to wait until after the wedding to decide exactly how they would like their preserved flowers to be arranged. We are happy to have a telephone/email consultation with you to help you decide.
How long will my order take?
Turnaround time is very difficult to predict as each bouquet is different. Sometimes it is 4 months, during busy periods it has gone up to 9 months (post Covid, home-schooling, isolation nightmares - never again please!!) Please try your very best not to chase us when you suddenly have so much extra time on your hands from not planning a wedding. We promise, we are going as fast as we can without compromising the quality of the finished product or neglecting our children! Replying to chasing emails just slows us down.
Do I have to pay for delivery?
If you are local, we advise that you collect your finished order as they can be very delicate. If this is not possible, we will send your order by using a specialist fragile items courier. There is a flat fee of £40 wherever you are in the country. We will advise you when your order is ready so that we can arrange for a convenient day to arrange the delivery.
Will the flowers look exactly the same as on the wedding day?
Our 3D method of preservation will maintain the form and shape of your flowers. You may find that the petals take on a slight papery or matt appearance after preservation and the colours may intensify and deepen. White flowers may take on a creamy colour, bubblegum pink flowers may go magenta, red flowers may turn a claret colour. The success of the preservation depends entirely on the quality, age and condition of the flowers when they reach us.
Can I choose my frame?
We have a wide range of framing options. Click here to see the different styles we offer. If there is something you have in mind that you do not see then please contact us. It is usually possible to source alternative frame colours and styles.
What if I want to throw my bouquet on my wedding day?
We do not advise that you throw your bouquet if you are choosing one of the larger reconstructed bouquet framed options as it may be difficult for us to see how your bouquet looked if the arrangement is damaged when your friends grab for it. You could consider asking your florist to make you a small 'throwing bouquet' if you know you want to partake in this fun tradition, or even better throw one of your bridesmaids' bouquets.
Do I need to pay a deposit?
We require a £100 deposit to reserve your booking slot in our schedule. This is non-refundable. The remaining balance will be due when we are ready to order your frame and start putting your bouquet back together. This is usually 4-6 months after the wedding so you have lots of time to save the pennies again after the wedding!
How long will my preserved bouquet last?
As long as you treat it carefully, there should be no reason why your preserved bouquet won't last forever however it is a natural product so we offer no guarantees beyond 2 years. All flowers are glued and wired in place and colour treatment is carried out to prolong the vibrancy of the colours for as long as possible. We also use top quality, UV-filtering non-reflective art glass in our frames to protect your flowers from fading. Over the years, you may see some fading but your flowers should remain in tact. We recommend that you avoid hanging it in a or near a damp room or above radiators as too much moisture in the air could creep into the frame. The frames are sealed but not 100% air tight so there is a very small possibility of flowers moulding in areas and periods of high humidity.
How deep is the frame?
The side view and bird's eye view options are about 3.5" deep and the blanket style is about 2.5" deep.
How do I know what size frame I need for my bouquet?
If you visit our pricing page you will get an idea of the type of sizes that work for different styles of bouquets. We will advise you on the best size for your bouquet when we see your bouquet in real life. We can always scale your bouquet down to fit the size frame that suits your budget.
Why is it so expensive?
We know that wedding budgets have a habit of spiralling out of control and we do appreciate that this is a considered purchase to remember your wedding day by. If you have a look on Google you will see that a lot of other preservation companies charge twice our prices because they use expensive freeze drying machines. We dry all our flowers by hand using chemicals and preservatives. Each flower is individually removed from your bouquet, wired, dried in chemicals, given a preserving treatment, colour treated to prolong brightness, arranged by hand in your chosen style. There is also the cost of the bespoke, hand-crafted box frame to consider.
Can I still get my bouquet preserved if my wedding is abroad?
Yes! We've preserved lots of bouquets from weddings that took place far and wide all across the world. Please get in touch and we'll talk you through the best way to get your bouquet home in great condition.
